I have been designing and building sculptural shade structures for over seventeen years. From soaring corporate amphitheaters to intimate residential nooks to sprawling public parks and everything in between, I've had the distinct pleasure of creating site-specific, functional art for discerning clients.
Before finding my passion in this specialized art form, I earned a degree in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Long before that, I was a child tying string between everything, trying to materialize spatial relationships.
I've always been fascinated by the space around and between objects, and inspired to find ways to sculpt and connect that interstitial space. There is a feeling of harmony when a connection is made.
